This is a a new paper by Trevor Stewart which reviews the contribution which Burns made to freemasonry in his poetry. While it does not pretend to be a fully academic paper, it nevertheless provides an interesting analysis of some of the well-known verses and traces some of the connections which Burns used in publishing his collected editions.
